SCHOOL WIDE ACTIVITIES
	School Picture Day	Pictures taken in September. A 2-3 hours shift in the am/pm.
	Vision Testing	Occurs in the Fall. Usually a 2-3 hour shift in the am/pm.
	Hearing Testing	Occurs in the Winter. Usually a 2-3 hour shift in the am/pm.
	Media Center	Throughout the school year assistance is needed with checking in books, stocking shelves, book fair & special projects.
	Yearbook Committee	Runs from Fall to April. Help plan photography, layout, design, sales. Committee schedule to be determined.
	Photo ID Pictures	May. A 2-3 hour shift in the am/pm.
	Conference Meals / Teacher Appreciation	Fall/Spring. Provide a dish for teachers to have meals at the school during evening conferences. Includes special Thank You for teachers a couple time a year.
	Fundraiser Distribution	Fall. Help setup & distribute Fall fundraiser orders during specified pick-up times. A 1-2 hour shift in the pm. Date and time TBD.
	T-Shirt Sales	Fall. Help take & distribute orders.
	Field Day	May. There are am/pm shifts available to help with games that are played outside by the students. Date TBD.
	Babysitting during PTO meetings	Need 5th graders and an adult to watch children of those attending meetings. 5th grader will be paid $7.
	5th Grade Reception	4th grade parents needed to assist with the 5th grade reception last day of school
Wendy's Night Volunteers Shifts TBD - sometime between 5 pm and 8 pm the first Tuesday of the month from September - May. Will sit at Ankeny Wendy's during month to take sheets from students, tally which class the sheet is from, and draw a winner every hour. Please check all months that you would be willing to help. FUN NIGHT
Held in November. This is a family night with a "theme" atmosphere. We need the following: Chairperson Games Chairperson Decorations Chairperson Food Chairperson Silent Auction Chairperson General Volunteer Classroom Game Volunteer: I can help Shift 1 Shift 2 Shift 3
CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES
	Lead Homeroom Parent	Take the lead in working with other homeroom parents to plan the class parties. Also helps with setup and calling volunteers for Fun Night for the respective homeroom. I am willing to help in any of my children's classrooms in this role. Assign me where needed most -OR- I want to help in a specific classroom: Teacher's Name
	Homeroom Parent	Assist/provide input to 3 class parties (fall, winter & friendship) I am willing to help in any of my children's classrooms in this role. Assign me where needed most -OR- I want to help in a specific classroom: Teacher's Name
	Homeroom Teacher Helper	Help in your child's classroom. Need/Schedule to be determined by the teacher. The teacher will contact you directly sometime after school begins. Possibly work with small groups or individuals; listen to children, read and/or provide other support for students. I am willing to help in any of my children's classrooms in this role. Assign me where needed most -OR- I want to help in a specific classroom: Teacher's Name
	Grade Level Super Volunteer	We need 4 or 5 volunteers at each grade level to help with making instructional materials, printing copies, cutting out things, doing bulletin boards, and doing any other things that teachers need help with preparing materials for instructing our children. We hope to have a central location for each grade level to place jobs that need to be done and volunteers could do jobs here or take them home to do within their personal schedule. I am willing to help in any of my children's grades in this role. Assign me where needed most -OR- I want to help in a specific Grade Level
